I learned the hard way today that not all taxi driver are honest. The
cab I got today from the airport to the Air Force base cost me $16 more
than it should have. The driver took the longest possible route [both in
distance and time] She went through the city rather than on the
expressway, and taxi cab meters run by the minutes rather than the
miles. I will never take a Checker cab in Anchorage again because when I
called the company the person told me that I should have told the
driver to take the shortest route, as it I would know about that being
from outside the state. So, Alaska Yellow Cab is the best. I guess that she needed the money. I pray that she does not do that too all of her fares. Even so, God has greatly blessed this travel. |
