The New Year has begun. I am still here. I notice that the headlines have not really changed much since this time last year. The media is still spreading doom and gloom with a LIBERAL bias. Iran is still threatening to create chaos, which would mean we pay more for oil and gas. I believe that the best policy now is LET GO & LET GOD! All of the doom and gloom just creates excessive fear. If these things do happen, there is nothing I can do about it. So, I figure that I should trust God for His providence. He has never let me down, nor will He ever let any of us down. We may have to weather some storms. The Christian life is not one of constant bliss, rather it is one of faith in the ONLY ONE CAPABLE OF CARRYING US THROUGH THE TROUBLES OF THIS WORLD. Jesus plainly told us that there will be trouble in this world and that we should remember that our redemption [JESUS RETURN] IS NEAR (SEE LUKE 21:28). Really, the choice is to worry and fret about all the things that we cannot control, or trust Jesus [God] to take care of all that and do our part, which is to make our part of the world a better place for those around us.
