I am thinking about the the quake and tsunami in Japan. A third explosion at the nuclear power plant resulting in radiation leakage. The devastation there is widespread. I pray that the people of Japan will survive that devastation. This is an unstable world. Intellectually, I know that there is not much that we can control, but I often take the good things that happen for granted. I confess that I don't always react well when things happen that I don't like. I am not taking about catastrophic events but inconveniences. It seems to me that most people tend to take conveniences for granted.

Jesus clearly stated that this world is full of trouble. I guess we think that we will always escape the troubles of this world. You know that God is there with us in the troubled times and the good. I pray that the people in Japan will survive the disaster that has come upon them.
