It has been a while since my last muse post. I had so many thoughts in my head that I could not capture one and psot it. I thought about all that is going on in this country. I often have a strong urge to gripe about the way things are. I do not like the President's policies. I realize that he could not be the President if God did not allow it (Romans 13:1). So, I must concede that I do not have God's wisdom. Nobody in this world has God's wisdom (See Isaiah 40:28). So, according to 2 Corinthians 5:7, we walk by faith not by sight; but, do we really? I think that we often get turned around. We tend to profess knowledge that we do not have. I state this because we all have perceptual blind spots. We all get caught up in the razzle dazzle of this world. We tend to place our faith in tangible things rather than placing our faith in God. That's when we get into trouble. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things [the things we need to live] will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). I find that I all too often seek the things in this world first and forget about the the righteousness of God. Then the dawn comes; the light brightens, and I step out of my darkness and ask God to forgive me once more. Fargive me again Lord for I do not know what I do. Jesus Christ gave us the ability to approach the Throne of Grace, so as Hebrews 4:16 instructs: let us approach it boldly. |
